The Interview Collection hosted by NewMediaFest
is the result of Agricola de Cologne’s collaborative art working since 2000,
covering interviews by artists from relevant digital art media like “netart”, “soundart” and “videoart”, but also about “curating” & the “content related” interviews on “collective trauma”.
The interviews have the meaning to give the reader the background information about the creation of the respective art works – film genres, as well, as the creators, but also a better understanding for the respective artistic media and contents – they form this way an alternative communication platform between the creator and the user (viewer).
In this way, the interviews form a unique source for undestanding the diversity of contemporary art working with audio-visual and digital media.
